New Morning Over Bath
A warm morning sun dances over the Georgian architecture of Bath in late autumn.
In the foreground our eye is drawn up William Street until we catch a glimpse of Great Pulteney Street as the sun breaks through the trees. We can also see Henrietta Park beyond, with snatched views of Henrietta Street, St John's Road and Walcot.
In the centre of the piece is St Swithins church, Caroline Place and Hedgemead Park.
Rising up, the sweep of Camden Crescent cuts across the artwork from left to right with various Lansdown buildings behind it.
In the top right, looming large above the city is St Stephens church.

Michael painted the original piece using a composite of his drone images as taken from the Bath Recreation Ground looking up Lansdown. The four individual photographs were then digitally stitched together to give a dramatic perspective of the city.
